Quick query -- will these things work on the PC? I've bought one for my powerbook (which isn't here yet...), and I needed to test it out somehow. Doesn't seem to show any signs of life when it's plugged in. Is this right?

I've used my Apple Mouse with my PC and it's worked just fine.
