When I spoke with support about my bricked watch it seems they have had a lot of people with this issue.

Subsequently my girlfriends watch shows no update available. Looks to me like they pulled it. And I'd guess have a team around the clock trying to remedy and release again in the am. Obviously what there doing is conjecture. All I can say is they said a lot of people had issues and now it's not available.

It was available for me. I'm installing it now.

Thanks for checking. I wonder why it won't trigger for her. We checked a few hours ago.

Jeez, inconsistency.

Same here, it says 1.0.1 is up to date.

No matter I am on 4G, Wi-Fi (good internet connection), just not avail for me.

Of course, my phone is already has iOS9 installed. And restart of the phone / watch nil help either.

I'm not sure if these things matter but.

1. Are you sure you are on final iOS 9 and not GM?

2. Did you remove the watchOS 2.0 beta profile from the Apple Watch?

***For the helpful answers.
Os2 missing update. Final release of os9. That could be it. I'll check on it now. I'd forgotten she may not have updated but think she did. Thanks.

When I spoke with support about mine they stated in passing about the iOS 9 upgrade bugs still being present. So I won't do her phone if she hasn't. I don't need to be blamed when she can't use either the phone or the watch!

No beta os was used so no profile to remove.

Have restarted both a couple times.

There are 3 phone-watch pair in my place. So far

1) 6+ with 9.1beta (via iTunes), can't get the update (stuck at 1.0.1).

2) 5c with 9.0 (via iTunes) has no problem at all to update it's watch, and the 6+'s watch by un-pair / re-pair method.

3) 5s with 9.0 (via OTA) shows 1.0.1 is the most up to date, go back and then try again shows 2.0 is available, but stuck at the verifying process. A simple restart of both the phone and watch solve the problem and now is installing.
