Apple pushed silent update last night

Did anyone else get a silent update last night. 2010 Mac Pro 5,1 on Mojave.6 ...bluetooth dongle, Logitech dongle, nomachine, steam, lastpass, and a couple others deauthorized. iSentry was running and didn't miss a beat, but my logitech wireless keyboard/trackpad was disabled along with bluetooth and the others listed. Had to plug in a keyboard and mouse to get logged in.... needless to day i've disabled updates now.

Anyone else ever have something like this happen?

No all seems well for Late 2013 iMac. I have auto updates OFF or check for updates DISABLED. I don't want Catalina Loading on my iMac.

Can you see if an update was installed....?
Never have auto update on....

My macbook air and mac mini fueled by Mojave 10.14.6 did not receive any updates,
but the problem could be with your other (non-apple) equipment receiving updates.
im having trouble with software and other small nuances with Mojave this year.

Sort of a cumulative update as abovementioned, idk for your specific macOS version or hardware component.

The update history is available in the System Information app – Software – Installations
From Terminal:
- to find all installations made in 2022
system_profiler SPInstallHistoryDataType | grep -B 4 "/22,"
alternative command, if the year is displayed in full
system_profiler SPInstallHistoryDataType | grep -B 4 ".2022"
- to find the installations made by softwareupdate
softwareupdate --history

Just checked (for the OP's sake), no updates available on my Mac (10.14.6).
Maybe your USB slot or Bluetooth has failed.

It will not happen to me, because one of the very first things I do with a new Mac (or a new OS install) is to TURN OFF all automatic updates.

I don't mind being informed that an update is available.
But I don't want it installed "behind my back".
I'll make that choice.
