I have on order an iMac 3.4ghz with 16gb RAM which occupies two 8gb slots. Can I add two more OWC 8gb chips for a total of 32mb even though they'll be of differing manufacture? Wasn't sure if they all had to be identical or not.

Apple doesn't make RAM, so all RAM is 3rd party RAM. It's fine to mix brands and capacities, as long as all RAM meets the required specs.

Thanks. I realize Apple doesn't make RAM and just assumed whatever OWC has would be off different manufacture. What I wasn't sure of was if it could be mixed. Thanks for clearing that up :)
