Apple Rebate (BTS Promo)

Hi all,

I would like to ask about the rebate check that Apple give back after some time period. I am gonna study in California for 3 months and I like to have a MBP 13''.

But I am curious about the rebate check. What is it? Cash or some check to buy something from Apple?

It's a check you can deposit into a bank account.

Actually, I do not have a bank account in US. I am visiting student and have a F1 visa. Is it possible to convert it to cash?

I'm sure a check cashing store would do that. Of course, they'd take a nice fee for doing it.
