I found their system to be VERY slow. My brother was emailed an in-stock alert at least 24 hours AFTER he had ordered his MBP from the refurb store. I had gone in and seen they were available and let him know. I think I had a similar experience when I was looking for a refurb Mini.

Yeah, I don't think it's that great at getting the info out in record time. Especially with hot ticket items like '12 Mac Mini's, this means you are out of luck by the time you get the notification. The alternative, as far as my knowledge goes, is to check everyday, several times a day. Often it's weeks between refreshes, so potentially a tedious endeavor.
