Apple Registration: How long should it take to get confimation?

My wife got an ipod about a year....turns out she never registered it.

Now, she wants apple care (10 days b/f 1 year anniversary).

I registered her product today around 10:00 and have yet to recive an email notification.

Furthermore if I try to query the serial number from the support website...it still comes up as unregistered.


How long should this take? I want to get her applecare asap, since I am in habit of forgetting to this kinda stuff
