A summary of threads shortly following the release of a new iPhone.

Apple makes a heavier phone than the previous iteration.

A: "It's too heavy. The weight is the first thing I noticed."

B: "It's not too heavy. I love the weight. I like it that it's heavier. It feels substantial. When I hold it I feel like it won't break if I drop it. It's perfect."

Apple makes a lighter phone than the previous iteration.
A: "Finally Apple caught up with the competition."

B: "The new iPhone feels so light and airy - it's amazing how Apple crammed all of that technology and made a lighter phone. Apple really impresses me. Samsung, your move."

Apple releases a phone (S variant) that's aesthetically similar to the previous version.
A: "Lazy. The bezel-to-screen ratio is still way behind competitors. Releasing the same looking phone as last year? Tired."

B: "Who cares that it looks the same? It's a sexy phone. It sold a lot. Why change what's not broken? Have you even looked at all the technology they crammed inside? Who cares about appearance."

Apple releases a "Rose Gold" iPhone.
A: "It's pink. No matter how you slice it, it's pink."

B: "I went to the Apple store and I played with it, and it's definitely more of a copper tone when I hold it under certain angles. It's almost like a soft gold. Definitely not feminine. It's not very pink. Men can rock it. I own plenty of pink polos and I'm a straight man. And I like it."

Apple adds a new feature (pick from 3D touch/live photos/4K video/etc.) to the new iPhone.
A: "Android has had this for x years."

B: "This is a game changer. This will really change the way people use phones."
