Apple today released a pair of Boot Camp updates for users of the company's latest 13-inch "Mid-2010" MacBook Pro released last month. The update comes in versions for 32-bit and 64-bit Windows users, and addresses issues related to the brightness tab of Boot Camp Control Panel and a lack of headphone audio output.
This update applies to the MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2010) running Windows operating systems.

It addresses an issue that causes the Boot Camp Control Panel applet to display an error when the brightness tab is selected and an issue that results in no headphone sound.
Full details on the update, which weighs in at 1.5 MB (32-bit) or 1.03 MB (64-bit), are available in the associated support document.

Glad to see they are still hardworking on fixing and improving "not-new" products.

That's one thing I really hate about apple. Once a new revision comes out, if you have a problem with the previous generation product you may as well forget about it ever getting fixed.

I almost got a heart attack that I read Apple Releases Boot Camp Updates... I though that finally the backlit will not be always on or the light sensor will start working or there will be more decent multitouch trackpad...

... then I read for the LATEST mbp 13" :(:(...

There are an awful lot of examples that would say otherwise.

For a start I would mention the hard drive replacement program for the white MacBooks which are 3/4 years old. Then there was the update to fix the audio issue with the 2009 Mac Pro's.

Would you care to give examples of these problems which have been ignored?

Glad to see such a quick update from Apple for us Windows users.

I can't save I've had the brightness issue, but did have the head phone issue which was an easy fix by downloading the newest audio drivers.

But thanks Apple....
