How spooky - Software Update just opened of its own accord to install this.

I don't think it's ever done that.

Presumably it's to update iPhoto '09 and not iPhone '09?

(Sorry, that's really picky - I hate people like me!).

Let's hope it makes Safari snappier as well :D

Yea!.....no restart required.

Someone at Apple must have changed something because the last 2 RAW updates didn't require a restart! :)

I got bored waiting for a Mac pro update so went out and bought myself a Lumix GF1. The only issue? No raw compatibility.

Hey Presto! Sorted! Thanks apple...

Where's the Canon 550D :apple:?

Although anybody who's enough of an early adopter to pay £800 for a flimsy plastic, pentamirror SLR with one control dial and no status LCD is a moron. Then again, prices will come down soon and the specs, image quality and movie quality are pretty good. If only I could get on with the grips on consumer Canons.

After this update, all my Nikon RAWs have the message about being "adjusted using an earlier version of Apple's RAW technology" and invite reprocessing. Reprocessing changes the image quite a lot - generally brighter. My Canon RAWs seem unaffected.

Oh, good. I just threw my Hasselblad H3DII-50 in a drawer because it was useless with out Apple RAW support. Now I can finally take it out of the box! ;)
