Apple Releases Safari Technology Preview 75 With Bug Fixes and Performance Improvements

Apple today released a new update for Safari Technology Preview, the experimental browser Apple first introduced three years ago in March 2016. Apple designed the Safari Technology Preview to test features that may be introduced into future release versions of Safari.

Safari Technology Preview release 75 includes bug fixes and performance improvements for WebRTC, Intelligent Tracking Prevention, Web Authentication, Media, Accessibility, Layout, Web API, WebDriver, Web Inspector, and CSS. This version of Safari Technology Preview includes support for WebRTC Screen Capture capabilities.

The new Safari Technology Preview update is available for both macOS High Sierra and macOS Mojave, the newest version of the Mac operating system that was released to the public in September.

The Safari Technology Preview update is available through the Software Update mechanism in the Mac App Store to anyone who has downloaded the browser. Full release notes for the update are available on the Safari Technology Preview website.

Apple's aim with Safari Technology Preview is to gather feedback from developers and users on its browser development process. Safari Technology Preview can run side-by-side with the existing Safari browser and while designed for developers, it does not require a developer account to download.

I always get "Test has failed: The operation is insecure." pop-up when try to run the test in the STP. Why and how do I get rid of this?

So first thing to note is the Software Update dialog shows a url link to where you can read more about what was updated, however it isn't actually a link and you can't click on it or even copy and paste the link they give. Common sense anyone?
[doublepost=1549496606][/doublepost]really hope they fixed the random and therefore after complete ignorance of mouse clicks that then requires you to relaunch about every 10 minutes of use.

Most of the feature missing from Safari are useless. It is only the vocals few who constantly complain about those "missing" , Services Worker has been nothing but a bag of hurt, 9 of 10 my CPU Fan was loading for whatever reason were due to some Worker doing whatever it thought were cool in the background.

I hope Safari team has a decent idea where they are heading.

Decided to just disable all experimental features and use it more like the non-tech preview version. I can't tell a difference otherwise enabling those features anyway except that sometimes web pages don't work right. The age of new cool web features was over in the 00's. Just give me a standards compliant browser for the old features, don't really need anything new for the future.
