Apple today provided the second beta of an upcoming macOS Monterey 12.4 update to its public beta testing group, with the update coming two weeks after Apple released the first beta and a day after Apple provided the second beta to developers.

Public beta testers can download the macOS Monterey 12.4 Monterey update from the Software Update section of the System Preferences app after installing the proper profile from Apple's beta software website.

According to Apple's release notes, ‌Universal Control‌ in the new iPadOS 15.5 and ‌macOS Monterey‌ 12.4 updates is not compatible with machines running macOS 12.3 or iPadOS 15.4, so Apple suggests that as a workaround, users should update their ‌Universal Control‌ devices to the new betas. No new features have been found in the macOS Monterey beta at this time.

All I want is a fix to the Quick Preview bug where after a while quick preview only shows a thumbnail instead of previewing it. This bug has been driving me nuts since Monterey was released and Apple should have fixed it by now!

Just had my first kernel panic ever on my M1 MBP on this release. Just running normal, low-CPU productivity apps.

It was weird to hear the fans spin up while it was dumping core. ?

No new features have been found huh. This doesn’t sound interesting at all. I hope this means the crack development team had finally realised refining the OS is way more important than adding gimmicky new features;)

It's not only Studio Display, I have to wake my LG 4K display twice before it stays on. It tries to come on the first time but goes back to sleep mode.
