Apple today released tvOS 16.3.2, a minor update for the tvOS 16 operating system that originally came out in September. Available for the Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD, tvOS 16.3/1 a week after tvOS 16.3.1.

The tvOS 16.3.2 update can be downloaded over the air through the Settings app on the ‌‌‌‌Apple TV‌‌‌‌ by going to System > Software Update. ‌‌‌‌Apple TV‌‌‌‌ owners who have automatic software updates turned on will be upgraded to ‌tvOS 16.3.2 automatically.

tvOS updates are usually minor in scale, focusing on internal bug fixes and improvements rather than notable outward-facing changes.

Apple shares information on tvOS releases in its tvOS support document, which is updated after each tvOS launch.

These other comments are way too relatable right now. The remote is the most insipid, frustrating bug yet. That and now iTunes TV will not play any of my purchases, so I have to scroll through ATV to get to the next episode and keep an eye on things to make sure it plays them in the correct order.

Considering the problem seems to be the actual USB C remote itself I’m not convinced we’ll see a fix until Apple pushes a remote firmware update

I installed TV OS 16.3.2 and now it starts up, loads the user profile and freezes on the first screen. Remote still works on my sound bar and I don't seem to be able to force a repairing with the remote. What am I doing wrong? Suggestions? I don't think this is "user error."

Edit: Remote app on phone works so it has to be the Apple TV remote which makes no sense given it still connects to the soundbar. Charging the remote even thought that makes no sense because it is still talking to the soundbar. Flummoxed!

Try pairing your remote to your Apple TV again, the below doc has some steps to do.

Commercials for Apple TV+ series in movies iTunes is new for me. No way to turn this of in settings, they have it for their commercials in the up next feature. 💩

Apple doesn't trigger the OS auto update for weeks. It does work but doesn't happen right after they release a new update.
I think the longest I’ve left it is a week or so, I’d have expected it to work by then?
But in the scheme of things it is not a big issue.😀👍

I lost HDR10+ support on my AppleTV 4K 2022. I bought the latest one on purpose for HDR10+ support !! I wanna cry.
I am using it with my TCL miniLED TV which can support both HDR10+ & Dolby Vision
HDR10+ is especially handy with Amazon Prime video which only support HDR10+ on tvOS
I am very disappointed.
Did any of you experience the same loss ?

The TV OS auto update is useless, 50/50 whether it works or not. My grandfathers Apple TV was up to date when I set it up and set it to auto update, but when I checked recently it was 2yrs out of date, it was on version 14 so I had to manually update it to 16.
