Apple Remote as EyeTV Launcher

im loving my new 24" imac and using the remote to control Front Row and Eyetv menus, HOWEVER, i would love to be able to launch EyeTV using the remote, i have looked at the 'remote buddy' and other similar apps but they interfer with with things such as alarm clock etc, all i need is activation fromt the remote, holding the menu button like the fullscreen menu actuvation. Anyone got a solution for this ? thanks guys
 
well, i have started using Mira by twisted melon, it seems best suited and they have stated to address the on screen menu of eyetv plus it supports awaken alarm, think ill stick with it (as ive now payed for it lol) hope that helps anyone else using imac for same things
