Apple Remote Desktop and PC's

I can't connect from my mac running Apple Remote Desktop to my PC. Probably because I don't know how to connect properly.

I can connect to other mac's with ease and I can even connect to a PC use the Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection software.

Can someone guide me through the steps to making this work please.

What OS is the PC? If it's XP Home it can't be done.

Nah, The PC's Pro of course. And I've selected remote sharing or whatever as well.
