So here's my problem. I am trying to remotely connect with an iBook with Apple Remote Desktop, and it refuses to. I've tried everything I can think of - turning off the firewall, putting the iBook on DMZ on my router, and nothing works to enable me to observe the screen. The ARD software sees the computer okay, and I can do non-observation tasks, I just can't see the screen when I choose Observe or Control.

The computer that the ARD software runs on can connect and view the screen of an eMac on the same hub, so I don't think it's a hardware problem. All the computers are running ARD 3.0 client software, Mac OS X 10.4.

If anyone has any ideas on how to solve this, I'd love to hear them. Thanks in advance.

Update: I've solved my own problem. I'd forgotten I installed OSXvnc. It conflicts with the VNC server in ARD. I was lucky that OSXvnc crashed and I found out about it. :D :D :D
