Hello,
preface: I have the 4th AppleTV and use the Apple Siri Remote. I have the latest 'regular' tvOS build and up-to-date iOS with iPhone XS Max.
recently it seems when I use Airplay to play a video from a website on my phone to the Apple TV I cannot Pause & Scrub the video. if I want to advance or rewind I have to constantly tap the Right/Left sides respectively.
I can scrub FWD/RWD when viewing videos natively on the AppleTV.
Anyone have any ideas what could have caused this or any fix? I have NOT tried the Remote App.
Maybe an unpairing and re-connect of the remote or some special Key-Punch technique to Force Reset the remote. Not a huge deal but annoying.
Thanks in advance.
UPDATED:
I just found this - Hold down the "Menu button" and "Volume down - " hold at the same time for 10 sec and your remote should be normal again
and then this - Use SIRI and sometimes that activation between remote and TV help.
Not sure if either of the above UPDATES might be helpful and will check tonight. thanks again for any input.
