Hey all, recently my aluminum Remote stopped working with iTunes. It still works with the system itself (for changing volume), QuickTime Player, Keynote, Front Row etc, but if iTunes is running it's not recognized at all. Does anyone have any idea of what I could do? I recently installed (and consequently uninstalled) ControllerMate, and I just updated to 10.6.5. I've reinstalled iTunes (still at 9.2.1) and deleted its .plist.
Cheers
EDIT
After some digging, I found the culprit. Using the excellent, and free, Remote Control Diagnostics application, I was informed the GimmeSomeTune had assumed control of my Remote (and since it launches at startup, and with iTunes, it was essentially always running). In its preferences, this can be disabled, which is what I did, and now all's well. Cheers!
