CANADA? eh?
I had the remote in my pocket for a project for my iMac

and i forgot it through it in my pocket

so it went through the wash?

so will it work again? or should i let it dry for a while?

how can i open it to let it dry better?

Take the battery compartment out by pressing that round circe on the bottom (i use a biro) and let it dry for at least 24 hours.

Might work might not, no one can say.

This is what I do. I was pushed in a pool once with my cellphone. Take it apart and put it in front of your refrigerators exhaust vent (usually at the bottom) It worked great every time one of my phones got wet. Something about slowly drying it?

Make sure the remote is suspended above the ground so the air can go all the way around it. I was able to save my ihome remote like this as well, should work for apple remote. Let us know.

let it dry for a while, overnight if need be
