Does anyone know how long it takes for a replacement machine when the original machine was CTO.

I took my Late 2008 MacBook Alu to the Apple Store today and they have decided to replace it rather than repair it again. It was a CTO order with a Hard Drive upgrade to 250GB. They said because it was CTO they couldn't replace it with store stock and would have to order it in.

They said they will replace it with the base MacBook Pro 13", which is fine by me and exceeds the specs of my current machine even when factoring in the CTO. So I am a bit confused by the delay, are they likely to upgrade the hard drive to 500GB as it is one level up just like 160GB to 250GB was -I'm not really bothered by that?

They told me it could take upto 2 weeks, really hope it doesn't take that long.

Has anyone else had any experience with having a CTO order replaced through an Apple Store?
