Apple resale value?

Sorry for posting soo many different threads but I bet these threads will be useful to people who search for questions like these... Again I apologize.

Anyway so yeah, I will buy a laptop (macbook pro 13.3 inch 2.26Ghz) - my first ever apple laptop p) What will the resale value be.

I plan to purchase one now, and then next year when I finish my college year, and hopefully move onto medical school, I can resell this one and buy a brand new latest laptop.

Macs retain their value real well if you keep them in good condition. Which makes it a pain obtain old collectors macs.

I generally see Macs having better resale value than Windows or Linux machines. How much you can get will depend on who you can find to buy it, where you attempt to sell it, and where you live. You may get 90% of the price you pay, or you may only get 50%. Just depends on who you sell it to. I got about 60% for a 2 year old iBook a few years back, but I felt lucky on that sale.
