This is a random observation, but on my bill for my MBP, underneath says "$187.00 fee if opened". I'm assuming this must be the restocking fee.
The laptop was $2,099, which means the restocking fee is only 8.9% of the price paid for the laptop.
Is the 10% restocking fee then contingent on what state you live in, or am I missing something? It is only $23, but it's better than nothing.
