Apple Retail Store US question - buying iPhone 6 availability

Hi!


If I see a retail store in the US having iPhone 6 in stock, but only with GSM AT&T. Does that mean it´s also available with T-Mobile GSM in that store? In other words are there any difference physically with the iphone between an iPhone 6 AT&T and T-mobile? Or are they identical, with only the Apple Store adding AT&T subscription at purchase?

If the apple store has the AT&T model and not the T-mobile model, you can buy it as "Device Only" and it should be unlocked.
