What is their policy?

If I send my touch in soon after buying it, will I get a new one?

How would I go about doing a return if I bought the touch online at the Apple store?

You could take it in to your nearest Apple store and they should exchange it EXCHANGE IT! I don't think they will do a full refund unless something else... But if you don't have an apple store nearby, call them and talk to them and see wha tyou can work out.
