Apple today seeded the first beta of an upcoming macOS Sequoia 15.4 update to developers, with the new update coming a month after Apple released macOS Sequoia 15.3.

Registered developers can opt-in to the macOS Sequoia beta through the Software Update section of the System Settings app. An Apple ID associated with an Apple Developer account is required to get the beta.

It's not yet clear what's included in macOS Sequoia 15.4, but the update is expected to feature new emoji characters and Apple Intelligence in additional languages. When we learn what's new in macOS Sequoia 15.4, we'll update this article.

macOS 15.4 is set to be released in April.

Let's hope it includes.... ah, I can't even be bothered to think of a ******* sentence.

15.44 GB here (Canada) as well. Might be one of the largest updates Apple's released. Thank goodness for fibre internet.
Wow, yeah I just noticed the size (15.44 GB in US... seems worldwide?) and came here. Honestly I don't remember but do they usually do full size installs for first betas of a new .x version on MacOS?

it didn't automatically enable Apple Intelligence.

It did enable Mail Categories though. Just working out how to turn that off ... seems easy enough. Untick View / Show Mail Categories and then in Settings ensure Notification Settings is "Inbox Only" instead of the Primary category.

does it disable E2E in the UK for iCloud services ?
seems like it resets at least some system security settings.
