Apple today seeded the first beta of an upcoming watchOS 3.2.2 update to developers for testing purposes, one day after the launch of watchOS 3.2, a major update that introduced Theater Mode.

watchOS 3.2.2 can be downloaded through the Apple Watch app on the iPhone by going to General --> Software Update. To install the update, the Apple Watch must have 50 percent battery, it must be placed on the charger, and it must be in range of the iPhone.

watchOS betas require an iPhone running iOS 10 to install, and they're only available to developers because there's no way to downgrade the software on an Apple Watch.

It's not yet clear if watchOS 3.2.2 introduces any new features or bug fixes because Apple doesn't typically provide release notes for betas, but we'll update this post should anything new be discovered.

Given that this is a minor 3.x.x update, it's likely to focus primarily on bug fixes.

Worst way to ship software. Blast things out. Fix stuff later. I miss Steve and Scott.

Got to fork it somewhere and go forward with a stable release then fix what needs fixing later, otherwise, nothing ever gets released. The frequency of updates on iOS is not a problem, it's an advantage, it means things are getting fixed and optimized all the time and when they reach a certain point in this process it is shipped to the public and the process repeats itself.

Blast things out? Worst way to ship software? You're exaggerating in the slightest. And...Jobs and Forstall didn't make mistakes either? I'm not following your argument, which goes both ways.

The most recent update was in testing for several months..not exactly "blasting things out."

There were plenty of bugs and plenty of software updates back when Scott and Steve were around. Not sure why selective memory exists in such an extreme way.
Our memory forgetting negative things more easily than positive things is a way of unburdening out mind from bad memories. The trick is to have the self-awareness in that regard to account for that when comparing the past with the present.

Connection of the watch to AirPods is improved, but still takes several tries to get the watch to connect to the AirPods with some tinkering around.
I never have trouble connecting the AirPods to the iPhone or iPad, but the Watch is a challenge.

Most of the time, my AirPods simply play music or podcasts coming from my Watch when the AirPods are currently connected to my iPhone 7. (It didn't work as cleanly with my iPhone 6.) But occasionally I do have trouble with the auto/dual pairing. In those cases, the quick and dirty way to get the Watch to take over is to turn Bluetooth off on the iPhone. The AirPods disconnect from the iPhone, of course, and then usually jump to the Watch a few seconds later. Or you can select them manually at that point. Then you can turn Bluetooth on the iPhone back on and everything works. It works every time for me, when the glitch pops up.

I think the glitch crops up for me after my Watch connects to the Bluetooth in my car. Something about that seems to throw off the auto/dual pairing.

Note: The auto/dual pairing only works with the Watch/iPhone (and only the7?). iPads and Macs use one-to-one AirPlay connections with the AirPods.

I love how the top 8 comments in this article is everybody responding to one person.

Interestingly enough, your comment still correlates to what everybody else was responding to. However Ironic is that?

Point is, what that forum member stated is incorrect and exaggerated. Several months with Seven betas is not equivalent to blasting things out. When you pedal reality distortion, then be prepared for feedback.
