Apple today provided developers with the first beta of an upcoming macOS Sequoia 15.3 update, with the new update coming a week after Apple released macOS Sequoia 15.2. Apple has also seeded new betas of watchOS 11.3, tvOS 18.3, and visionOS 2.3.

The betas are available to registered developers at this time, and can be downloaded from the settings app on each device.

We don't yet know what's included in the macOS Sequoia 15.3 update or the other updates, but we'll update this article should anything new be found after we download and install the new software.

Apple Music/TV is still 1.5.2.56 no change going to 15.3 beta

Are beta releases usually that quick after a MacOS version is released ?

I wonder if Apple discovered bugs in the just released 15.2 that they want to patch quickly.

Yeah pretty standard, and it is the same with iOS. 15.2 betas, outside of the RC, ran like complete crap for me. This is where I have to leave the beta train on my Mac :(

Usually? I would say no, but sometimes betas are released before the previous version goes final. It’s not unheard of for them to release a beta for the next version while the previous version is in mid beta. It’s not a big deal to release off of multiple branches like that.

15.1 Beta 1 was released before the final release of 15.0 and 15.2 Beta 1 was released before the final version of 15.1 was released. Same for iOS/iPadOS 18.1 and 18.2. So this one is rather late.

there is a ventura 13.7.3 rc 1 build 22H406

not sure what is going on with the sonoma. maybe one will come later

It's not listed with the other new releases in the developer portal. I had an RC for a point update on an old device a few months ago too. I think it was iPad OS 17.7.1 or so. It was also not mentioned anywhere.

they don't list the ventura or sonoma rcs there anymore, but we should expect support for those to continue till macos 16 is released. then or shortly before they would likely drop support for the ventura.

anyway the full installer for the 13.7.3 rc 1 isn't available yet but probably will come tomorrow. it is however available ota now.

i'm still trying to figure out what is going on with sonoma. seems strange they release a ventura rc but not sonoma rc.
