Apple today seeded the fourth beta of an upcoming tvOS 13.2 update to developers for testing purposes, a week after seeding the third tvOS 13.2 beta and a month after releasing the tvOS 13 update.

Designed for the fourth and fifth-generation Apple TV models, the new tvOS 13.2 developer beta can be downloaded onto the Apple TV via a profile that's installed using Xcode.

tvOS updates have historically been minor in scale, focusing on under-the-hood bug fixes and improvements rather than major outward-facing changes. Apple provides little to no information on what's included in tvOS updates, so we may not discover anything new during the beta testing process.

Though we don't often know what's been added in tvOS updates, we let MacRumors readers know when new software is available so developers are able to download it upon release.

We didn't find anything new in the first three tvOS 13.2 betas, but will update this post should we find new features in the fourth tvOS 13.2 beta.

tvOS 13, released in September, introduced multi-user support, a new Control Center, Apple Arcade and controller support, new screensavers and more. More info on tvOS 13 can be found in our tvOS 13 roundup.

I wish they'd add the ability to "totally disable multi-user everything" they added to tvOS 13

We just don't use our Apple TV's in a "login with different users" type of way at all.

Fix the bug o AppleTV app and get rid of the ads. It reminds me of Verizon or Facebook. So tacky.

I've been enjoying quite a lot tvOS 13, and it's relatively stable on my side except that it goes to sleeping mode while we play music (on Apple Music or Spotify), which is annoying -- can't use it as a music player.

Yes! Hopefully they fix this!

We are the opposite but still dislike implementation of profiles/users.

Its from the basis of TV app only not main screen. To reflect viewing of different users you must go through TV app which has become Ad TV app with users only having control over the top line, but Restriction settings are mixed between device, apps, and user profiles in a bad way and with device settings effecting what shows even show up in watch now. No restrictions to change profiles. If you want to use it as a hub for Home iCloud becomes another device setting along with Game Center. I haven’t used this beta, but TV app and profiles have been so awful I have limited use of them as much as possible.

Its quite telling on how poor it’s been done to read posts here & elsewhere from people like you that don’t want profiles and dislike how Apple has implemented it and from people like us who wanted users/profiles but dislike how Apple has implemented. Can’t get either market right on profiles.

Profiles needs to switch account’s iCloud Photo Library. Ps those betas improve gaming performance

Still doesn't fix using HomePods in stereo as your audio out. If you put your ATV to sleep, when you come back your audio will be via HDMI yet your volume controls will be controlling the HomePods.

Since that's not fixed, I'm assuming that the WWE Network app still can't use the HomePods and YouTube video will get choppy while the ATV is trying to sync audio (and it will eventually be out of sync).

We completely agree. We want user profiles badly but Apple needs somebody in design that actually uses a Apple TV with other people (instead of maybe young developers that live alone?). My adult son and I talk about this a lot. He has a house of 4 and I have a house of 2. Think about Games. Game Center should be part of the user profiles as an example.

Multiuser ID's should be based on iCloud ID. It seems they store usage on the STORE ID.

This new update broke my Arcade App "again". It stopped working in the prior version and then all of a sudden started working. Then I was "stupid" and put this version in thinking it was fixed and got the same error. No problems with non beta tv's.

Something like "Too many login's" which can not be true. Not sure what the limit is. I am the only one testing it. But my login is used on other TV's. But my point is it started working after a bit with the prior version and still works on all of my other non beta tv's.
