Apple today seeded the release candidate version of an upcoming macOS Sonoma 14.6 update to developers, with the software coming a week after Apple released the fourth beta. The RC represents the final version of macOS 14.6 that will see a public launch provided there are no bugs discovered.

Registered developers can opt-in to the beta through the Software Update section of the System Settings app. Note that an Apple ID associated with an Apple Developer account is required to get the beta.

We don't yet know what might be included in macOS Sonoma 14.6, and no new features have been discovered in the betas so far. macOS Sonoma 14.6 is likely to see a release next week.

Sonoma has been sold for me for awhile now.

I have not jumped on any of the macOS 15 betas just yet, but maybe with the next Public Beta next week.

Has anyone who has installed the RC now got a passwords app in Launchpad like that in the current Beta? It crashes when I attempt to open it though

I saw some people also found it and crashed on opening too, I guess Apple messed it up. It shouldn't be there. Besides, a few of my friends who got onto 14.6 have performance issues, not sure what Apple has changed since there're no notes or whatever details revealed on this update.

For whatever reason, I can't see this update on my mind. No issues with the macOS Sequoia public beta showing up.

2021 24 inch iMac running 14.6 this morning okay so far. My 2012 mac mini, 2015 13 inch macbook air and 2012 15 inch macbook pro are on 14.5 Sonoma. They all just work :)
