Apple today seeded the second beta of an upcoming watchOS 3.2.2 update to developers for testing purposes, nearly two weeks after seeding the first watchOS 3.2.2 beta and two weeks after the release of watchOS 3.2, which introduced Theater Mode.

The second beta of watchOS 3.2.2 can be downloaded through the Apple Watch app on the iPhone by going to General --> Software Update. To install the update, the Apple Watch must have 50 percent battery, it must be placed on the charger, and it must be in range of the iPhone.

watchOS betas require an iPhone running iOS 10 to install, and they're only available to developers because there's no way to downgrade the software on an Apple Watch.

It's not yet clear if watchOS 3.2.2 introduces any new features or bug fixes because Apple doesn't typically provide release notes for betas.

Given that this is a minor 3.x.x update, it's likely to focus primarily on bug fixes. No notable features were found in the first watchOS 3.2.2 update, but we'll update this post should anything new be discovered.

So when I updated to 3.2, the new watch face colors for the bands appeared. Then updating to 3.2.2 beta 1 removed those faces. Anybody install beta 2 and get those colors back?

Does this fix the dock bug? Instead of going back to the previous app used in the dock, it goes to the previous app used overall? Its hard to explain.

Not sure if i understand your problem. With the latest beta installed today, when i click DOCK and go into Message and then go back out. I use another app. And if i click Dock again, it goes to Message, not the last app used.

Does that answer your question?

Haven't checked, but are there plans to have complications in the workout app?

It'd be nice to have my blood sugar be in there with heart rate, and not have it be an alarm after it goes low (blood sugar, that is).

Yes, that answers. Thank you!

If I went to dock, used messages then went to home screen. Then if I opened activity, then went back to dock, it would take me to activity in "recent" not messages.

My watch is nearly 2 years old now since I received it on launch day. Keeps getting better.

Yup, I was hesitant to purchase originally, thinking perhaps I should way for version 2. Considering how it took 1.5 years for an upgrade and my series 0 is still in amazing condition and working way better than when I got it almost 2 years ago... definitely happy with my choice.

It is quite incredible how much better the series 0 is today than it was at launch.

This beta version has a few more glitches than the first.... One of them is taking phone calls while connected to the bluetooth headset (and the calls route to the wrong device (IE: my phone instead of headset).

Providing feedback to Apple. Anyone else experiencing this?

Serious question for the MacRumours knowledgeable fans, has any generation 0 device ever been consistently, significantly better with each software update like the Apple Watch 0? Same hardware but stratospheric performance boosts from software tweaks?

Well, this might be the first device where the original software was accidentally throttled back too much due to concerns about lack of computational resources. They said as much during the watchOS 3 intro at WWDC 2016.

That happens with my phone frequently - but since I have the intel Modem - I think it's a problem with the modem and BT. Not sure at all if this response is valid for your question but since series 0, 1, and 2 phone calls are routed through and to the iPhone, it could be. I frequently have learned to go to Setting, BT and turn it on again for the BT headset I want to use.
