Apple today seeded the third beta of an upcoming macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 update to developers, two weeks after seeding the second beta and a month after releasing macOS High Sierra 10.13.3. The update also comes one day after the release of a 10.13.3 Supplemental Update to address a bug that could cause apps to crash when receiving a character from the Indian language Telugu.

The new macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 beta can be downloaded from the Apple Developer Center or through the Software Update mechanism in the Mac App Store with the proper profile installed.

macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 includes bug fixes and performance improvements for issues that weren't addressed in macOS High Sierra 10.13.3.

The update also offers support for some features that are available in iOS 11.3, like Messages on iCloud, which uploads all of your iMessages to the cloud. It will also support Business Chat, a feature coming when iOS 11.3 and macOS 10.13.4 are released to the public, and it includes improved support for eGPUs.

The macOS 10.13.4 brings the smoke cloud wallpaper that was previously only available on the iMac Pro, it replaces the "iBooks" app with the new renamed "Books" app, and it introduces a warning when opening up a 32-bit app as part of an effort to phase them out.

In the future, Apple plans to phase out 32-bit Mac apps, just like it did with 32-bit iOS apps. Apple says macOS High Sierra is the last version of macOS that will support 32-bit apps without compromises.

Guess it's time for a complete restart when the next OS arrives since I have a ton of old (32 bit) junk I never use.
Probably also a lot of plugins which start to fail too so I'll start anew after being on OS X/macOS since the beginning without a reinstall.

I feel ya. My cutoff was when I got my MacBook in 2006. My initial 10.0.0 install that migrated and updated machine to machine stopped there :)

any changes in messages? like adding the ability to use google hangouts in there again? I received a messages from apple about my feedback and they said to check in the next beta. So I'm hoping thats now in there.

looking forward to the public release of 10.13.4. Hope it kills some of the bugs that makes me desire to shift back to Sierra.

Still no update. Says I am on the latest version: 10.13.4 Beta (17E150g)
[doublepost=1519171953][/doublepost]Did Apple pull the update?

ver 17E150g bricked my app store app and now I can't even connect to get the new update or any updates. It's not showing on the terminal command either. (turns out to be Little Snitch somehow but still can't see the new update yet)

It seems so. My update is fluctuating between different number of hours remaining.
hmmm...I guess I will just have to wait then.

My app store app is working by not iMessage. It hasn't since I updated to this beta. I keep getting an imagent quit unexpectedly.

The computer asked for restart after a lot of going back and forth. It is updated.

About an hour ago I installed the beta 3 onto an external hard drive for my mid 2012 MacBook Pro without any problems. The download only took 5 minutes.

Yeah, I run the beta on a few Macs.

Looks like the overheating 295X shutting down my 5K iMac was fixed in this or last beta. Forgot to put the fans on blast when launching XCOM and system control of fans was enough to keep it running smoothly.
