Apple today provided developers and public beta testers with the release candidate versions of upcoming watchOS 26.2, tvOS 26.2, and visionOS 26.2 updates for testing purposes. The software comes two weeks after Apple seeded the third betas. The RCs are the final versions of the watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS 26.2 updates that will be provided to the public next week as long as no other bugs are found.

The software updates are available through the Settings app on each device.

watchOS 26.2 features updated Sleep Score ranges that better match how people might be feeling after a night's rest.

In tvOS 26.2, Apple added support for creating a profile without an Apple Account, plus there is a dedicated Apple TV app kids mode for profiles created for kids.

Please let this fix the battery drain on my AppleWatch Series 9. And fix CarPlay disconnect on the 17 Pro Max!
What are your symptoms of "CarPlay disconnect on the 17 Pro Max" and what model year/vehicle is involved? I have occasional CarPlay disconnect on the 17 Pro Max (2024 Honda Ridgeline). I assumed it is the Honda's fault since [per the owners' forum] 2023 Honda Ridgelines were much worse with Carplay.

No battery issues on the Apple Watch Ultra v1 running 11.6.1. I am considering moving the AWU to Watch OS 26.1. Is there a reason I should hold off? Other than the fact that 11.6.1 works fine.

Can’t say why you have but I have a series 9 haven’t had any unexpected battery drain issues running the betas currently got 91% battery health and still lasts as long as I did when I got it couple of years ago

The iPhone 17 Pro Max crackling sound during charging via USB is still present. Its definitely a hardware issue. No fix in place as Apple wants to reach their record iPhone revenue this year.

Disgusting.

I have a 2020 Mercedes. It randomly freezes then disconnects, so I have to unplug and plug it back in. It’s super annoying.

I miss my iPhone 14 Pro Max. It was perfect.

I had a similar issue with my AW Series 9. Lucky if I could make it thru the day without the battery running out. If you have cellular enabled you may want to turn it off and see if it fixes the issue. I also had to un-pair and re-pair my watch to the phone.

What is the issue? I have the phone and have never noticed any crackling sound.

With every TV OS update, I have a hidden small hope that audio passthrough will be enabled for TrueHD… even though I know it won’t.
that would really make Apple TV the moat valuable set top box on the market sure.

Yes, my disconnects with my iPhone 17 pro max are mostly with wireless CarPlay. Mostly stable with the cord. I really hope this is fixed!!!
