Just got 4.1 blobs for all my iDevices which are more recent and shipped with 4.2.1.

Get em well you can via Tiny Umbrella.

Apple seems to be serving them again. Probably wont last long.

Had my phone replaced yesterday, and TinyUmbrella picked it up on the new refurbed phone. According to KLANTENSERVICE was built end of January.

Also found it for my friends 3Gs (8GB).

Thought it was odd.

That just means it was a phone someone took back for a problem. Apple serviced it and put it back on the wild. The original owner probably jailbroke and saved the blobs for you. How convenient!

Same here, the first replacement didn't have any SHSH blobs. However, my second iPhone 4 replacement has SHSH's all the way from iOS 4.0.1 saved!

I hope the phone still functions well in the long run...!

TinyUmbrella was able to get my 4.1 SHSH too!

My (refurb) 3GS came preinstalled with 4.2.1, and the first thing I did was see if it had SHSH blobs.

This is pretty awesome, also good to know if I ever need to downgrade back, although I'm sure I won't since I'm on jb'ed 4.2.1.

Didn't even know the BLOBS passed on after the phone was serviced due to them changing the serial number.

Well im glad to have them.

You lucky Fuc*er...you probably got my old phone that had all the blobs saved.

The refurb I got had NO blobs saved at all

Since there is a jailbreak available for the most recent iOS firmware (the one Apple is signing), this is completely a non-issue.
