It's likely we won't see any invite for today. The 15th is too close as date for an october event. I bet for the 22th. It's pretty sure

Since you're speculating...

I think it will be closer to Halloween and will be on shorter notice than years past. Why would they want to launch a slew of new devices given the news will be dominated by the drama leading up to the debt ceiling being raised, or the real possibility of chaos ensuing if it isn't.

We'll see.
