Alongside its Black Friday promotion announcement, Apple today also released its holiday shipping guide in the United States and other countries that outlines deadlines for customers looking to order gifts for arrival by December 24.

As we noted yesterday, shipping estimates for iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max have already slipped past Christmas in the U.S. after Apple issued a shipment warning about those models. Production of iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max has been hampered due to to COVID-19 restrictions at the Foxconn factory where the devices are primarily assembled.

All of Apple's other main products remain available for Christmas delivery at this time, with the earliest other deadlines in the U.S. being November 30 for iPad mini and third-generation AirPods.

Customers looking to order AirTags will need to do so by December 9 if they wish to have them engraved or December 14 without engraving, while most other products are expected to be readily available with orders through December 21 arriving in time for Christmas. Customers in areas with Apple Stores may even be able to order for in-store pickup or two-hour delivery as late as Christmas Eve.

Apple may update the deadlines on this page in the coming weeks as it assesses product availability, so it pays to keep an eye on it and ensure you order in plenty of time to receive your items in time for the holidays.

Apple's extended return policy is also now in effect, allowing items purchased in most countries between November 4 and December 25 to be returned through January 8, 2023. Select countries have a longer window with items purchased between November 4 and January 6 able to be returned through January 20, 2023.

I would hold-off till iPhone 15 Pro with USB-C, this is like getting on the train or bus one stop before the line end and you have not reached your destination yet. People who claim to have invested into Lightening connector get with the times as technology standards change these are the same people who have iPad’s and MB A/P or claim the 3.5mm jack is not needed as we have BT wireless.

This doesn’t make any sense lol. So Lightning is outdated (it’s basically as old as USB-C) but at the same time you want to recover a connector (3.5mm jack) which has been gone from phones for a long time.

I think you misread or got lost in your thought process while misinterpreting what I wrote 😁

What's the Holiday deadline for ordering a spank'n new 27" M2 iMac to replace my old and slow 2020 sIntel iMac?
/S

Speaking of deadlines, Apple shipped the first Apple Silicon Mac 2 years ago today. So no matter how you spin the “two year transition” plan, it’s a FAIL!

Or hold-off till the iPhone 16 Pro which in addition to USB-C will have a periscope zoom camera system that will be exclusive to the 15 Ultra next year. Either that or do what I’ll probably do, get the 14 Pro and upgrade to the 16 Pro in two years. So in a way when it comes to the camera, getting the 15 Pro will be like getting on the train one stop before the periscope camera station.

I am worried that Apple may remove the physical SIM slot in the iPhone 15 Pro, so I upgraded from the 6S to the 14 Pro. If the 15 Pro outside the US keeps the physical SIM slot and goes to USB-C I may upgrade to that after just one year.

Maybe in the US but unlikely in other markets.

Maybe but I prefer periscope is not exclusive to the Pro Max or larger sized Pro phones.

You probably made a good choice in getting the 14 Pro if you really need a physical SIM slot. I think the 15 Pro models sold in Canada and Europe will be sim-less like their US counterpart.
