Apple today shared a short teaser trailer for "Bruce Springsteen's Letter to You," an upcoming Bruce Springsteen documentary that's set to debut on Apple TV+ on October 23.

The documentary will feature Springsteen recording live with The E Street Band for the first time in 35 years, and it will be available exclusively on Apple Music. From the Apple TV+ description of the documentary:
A tribute to the E Street Band, rock 'n' roll, and the way music has shaped Bruce Springsteen's life, this documentary captures Bruce reflecting on love and loss while recording with his full band for the first time since Born in the U.S.A.
The release of the documentary is timed with the release of the "Letter to You" album, which is also launching on October 23. A song from the album, "Letter to You" is already out with a music video available.

The full album features nine newly released songs along with new recordings of three unreleased compositions from the 1970s.

I have seen Bruce and the band in concert many times. He said many years ago that he plays every night like it might be the last time he plays: energy, length of time on stage and intensity. I have never been disappointed. But geez, Stevie, time to get in shape. i hope he has no illness but he is far too big.

Not interested, but better than a forced U2 album nobody asked for...

I was watching random Bruce Springsteen docs on Youtube yesterday.. what are the odds.

Springsteen has been around a long-ass time and has managed to have both a long-standing following mixed with his political/social beliefs. He's not called "The Boss" for nothing... his shows are epic.

Looking forward to this, and I don't say that often about Apple TV content.

I am still baffled people have gripes with that. It was free and if you don't like it, just delete it. It's not really a big deal. smh
I think people had gripes because it should have been: It was free and if you like it, just download it. Shake your head all you want but offering it as a free download was the proper way to do it. Not sure what's baffling about that.

On topic: The Boss? 10/10 will watch.

I get it but still ridiculous all the backlash. Delete it and move on. The vitriol back then was indeed reason to smdh.

Very excited! Bruce really is someone every American should look up to. Not from New Jersey but I bet the state has immense pride over being home to such a great contributor to American culture.

AppleTV+ is full of this nice to have but not major productions. Already canceled my subscription.

The content on this platform is so boring and generic

Apple Music and Apple TV+ are so, so Stuff Old White People Like™. Apple's executive brain trust is frozen in the 1985-2000 heyday of their younger, more vital days. I can't wait to not watch the Bell Biv DeVoe documentary.
