love this kind of stuff! It keeps the vibes and passion for apple events alive!

Yup… I have officially reached that age where I read Benson Boone, Charli xcx, Ed Sheeran, Don Toliver and I go… "Who?"
Old age, eh?
I only recognized Ed Sheeran, thought “oh that ginger guy with a guitar!”.

But that’s rather not the matter of knowing artists but that Apple has tasteless “DJs” who chose music for the playlist.

On the other hand, I gave a listen to all snippets and it… sounds as cringe as pop music from 2010-2012😂 Maybe that’s a hint we are finally getting our skeuomorphism back?😃
Or maybe I am being wrong, again

I'm looking forward to WWDC, but I wouldn't say excited. But I've never enjoyed Apple's choice of music for events. The only name on the list I recognized was Ed Sheeran, and I know him more from his very brief cameo in Game of Thrones, more than his music.

BGrifter, great comment!

As to Apple's playlist…

Any *legitimate* or *quality* playlist of *summer sounds* — especially one true the origin of the phrase and the history of popular music — would have included The Beach Boys.

Alas, Apple falls short again as it recently has with so many other actions.

Looking forward to the upcoming “Summer Days and Nights” and missing the “Good Vibrations” Apple was once known for…

I'm pretty sure that even old people have heard of Ed Sheeran and Charli xcx. They've been around for quite a while now ... kids these days would consider them ancient, old-timer musicians!
