apple stock

Apple may make amazing products but they are not a good investment. I paid over $105 dollars per share in the
beginning of 2000 and now it is below
$23. I am down $82 dollars per share!
Its only a good deal for Jobs who is
paid more $$ than he could spend
in 10 life times.

Sorry you got in when you did, but lately AAPL has been doing pretty well. If you'd bought it when it was under $15 (before the G5 and the iPod things were pretty bleak) you'd be doing OK right now. Still a better deal to buy real estate in California though...

apple stock

On good earnings the stock took
a nose dive of 7% Today, Thursday
15 January.......I just love how
they say the market is back
and everything is wonderful
for investors. B U L L

Meh. I paid $13/sh in 2002, and it's gone up $10 since then.

There's not a tech stock that has a better price now than 2000 (except maybe a couple).

BUt buying one framed share is not the way to go.

eBay. America's Garage Sale (I heard that phrase on these boards but forgot who said it).

Yeah, my dad bought high...

Also Jobs makes $1 a year... not even kidding.

What he gets is Bonuses, you can only blame that on the Board of Directors.

As he said, a couple do, but before the buble burst all was well.

What the hell are you talking about? You're not down even nearly $82 a share in actuality. You said you bought in early 2000? Well AAPL has split twice since then. So you're down maybe $3 per share if you still have it.

On a side note, Jobs didn't get most of his money from Apple, he got it from Pixar.

i just bought some more...3 shares!!

they dont have too be framed, so ive invested in my favorite company again!!

cmon APPLE i luv you

:D

Who's the largest shareholder of AAPL?

Is it that saudi prince still? The one that told guilliani that new york deserved the sept 11th attacks.

That's your own fault. If you watch the market you see that Apple rests in the $20s almost as law. You bought when the stock split. You have twice as many shares, but you still lost money. I bought half my shares at $19 just a few months before the split, after watching the market and studying Apple's business ventures. I knew they were poised to gain substantially, and when the shares split I had twice as much stock at a tidy profit. Apple didn't "lose" $82. They simply divided. You can't blame Apple or the market for this one. You simply had bad timing. Sorry.

Apple is a great investment, if you pay attention. Often high risk, but if you can do quite well.
