Apple shipping dates

I waited too long while trying to find one locally, and I just finally ordered on online (oh well).

My current shipping dates are:

Ships: Apr 25
Delivers Apr 28

How are Apple ship dates? I rarely order online from Apple and usually go in store for everything.

Are you asking if they normally ship sooner?

if so, then yes in the past with regular stock products, they have shipped them before the quoted time, but if we're talking about the iPad 2, then its hard to say because stock has been a hit or miss with some people and locations.

Quake Impact

Usually Apple delivers faster than stated on the ordering screens.

However, with the quake impact in Japan, I would say there is probably only a couple weeks of components left. So who knows at this point?

Do both. If you don't want to wait a month, keep trying and cancel your order if you get one. You still have a long window to cancel in, so why not try if you don't mind the hunt?
