Apple should make HomePod app for MacOS

I have a Mac Mini that I use as a Plex media server. I also have a couple of security devices that I use through Google Home. I would consider switching to HomeKit if Apple added this support to MacOS. To me, it is a waste of power to keep my Mac on all the time for Plex and keep a HomePod or iPod on all the time for HomeKit. I would like to put all of that into my Mac. I think Apple is slowly killing off the Mac, because they know that MacOS is still the most flexible OS and can erode into sales of specialized devices. Pity the negative impact on the environment, gotta sell those devices...
