Only works if Siri is enabled on lock screen. On my iPhone Siri is disabled in lock screen.
This doesn't work on my 6S using 9.2.1, with Siri enabled on the lock screen. I have no option to share the search text, only copy/paste. It does work if I use any finger which is registered with Touch ID which is what I would expect.Only works if Siri is enabled on lock screen. On my iPhone Siri is disabled in lock screen.

Maybe that loophole was closed? This doesn't work on my 6S using 9.2.1, with Siri enabled on the lock screen. I have no option to share the search text, only copy/paste. It does work if I use any finger which is registered with Touch ID which is what I would expect.
I don't think you need to do either. This doesn't appear to be a real vulnerability if the device only offers a share option once it's unlocked via Touch ID.I can't find a setting to "Disable Siri on the Lock Screen", so I just disabled Siri altogether.
Could be, there have been some exposures to user data through the lock screen that Apple's patched before.Maybe that loophole was closed?
Were you trying it with one of your fingers that's registered for Touch ID?Exploit no longer working for some reason.
WELL THAT WAS QUICK...
Hmmm. This vulnerability works even without using a TouchID finger on 9.0 here. Were you trying it with one of your fingers that's registered for Touch ID?
There was a fix for that in 9.0.2. It's probably the same vulnerability.Hmmm. This vulnerability works even without using a TouchID finger on 9.0 here.
My old 6 doesn't do this (iOS 8.3)
You need to go into Touch ID and passcode, enter your passcode and then you get the option to disable Siri from the lock screen.I can't find a setting to "Disable Siri on the Lock Screen", so I just disabled Siri altogether.
