Hi,

I've just received a silicone case from Apple for my iPhone 11. I'm glad to see that the cutouts are very precisely cut and machined, and the colour (Cactus) is gorgeous to my eyes.

That being said, despite the cutouts being very well machined and the sides and corners perfectly straight, the back of the case is warped, a bit like the distended pages of a book that's been wet. There seems to be excess distended material around the Apple logo and one corner of the camera cutout. The end result is that when laying on a flat surface the iPhone slightly rocks from side to side. This is what the distended bump on the back looks like :

This isn't my first iPhone case from Apple, but it's the first that exhibits this sort of defect. Have you had a similar experience before ?

Thanks in advance for your input.

I would just exchange it for another one in the store if possible so you can check it first.

I've sent it for an exchange indeed, we'll see what the replacement looks like.
