Apple Silicone cases for iPhone 13 Pro Max (Midnight color)

Going over the case options on Apple's website regarding silicone cases for the 13 Pro Max. I see a Midnight option.

Is that supposed to be a Midnight Blue? Black? It looks purplish on my monitor. Anyone got perhaps better images to post on it? I prefer it to be more purple in color. Since I don't see any other purple options there.

Anyone got decent resolution pictures of that silicone Midnight case?

Same texture as last year. I can't comment on the dust or lint since I am not using it yet. It is not being used til my 13 comes.

Previously, Apple's black silicone cases were more gray than actual black. How's this one in comparison?

It is darker than last year's "black" side by side. To my eyes it is black

I bought one for the 12 pro last year and the silicone chipped off very easily. Apple was very stingy about replacement, dubbing it normal wear and tear--even though I was protecting an iPhone Upgrade Program phone they would have had to cover fall damage costs of.

I went into the aftermarket and found multiple magsafe ready silicone cases, for as low as $9. There's one purportedly for the 13 pro and pro max already but it is only four colors and is $19.

Apart from the apple logo, the one I'm using now was virtually identical to the "real thing."

+1 on having issues with the apple silicone. Apple CS refused to replace it under warranty. Definitely better options out there than Apple brand cases
