Apple Silicone Texture - 7 vs 8?

Obviously the 7/8 cases are interchangeable, but is there any slight texture difference for the ones currently available at the Apple Store and the prior iPhone 7 cases (from before the 8 was announced)?

Thinking about picking up a Cocoa 7 case.
