If only...
This is the announcement I was hoping to see at MWSF. It would have been such a better surprise than the new iMac. I mean, let's face it - nobody knew what the new iMac would look like, but it definitely wasn't "way beyond the rumor sites." If Apple had made the SkyCorp thing a big deal, that would have been way beyond the rumor sites (Way beyond... as in outer space, beyond). And all the Star-Trek teasers about "Going to where no PC has gone before," and "Full speed ahead, with a lust factor of [OS] ten." Aah well. Let's just hope they do get the satelite thing going. Then the new iMac and the iPod wouldn't be the only things making WinTel users jealous!

So if Apple gets this Digital hub thing going, we'll have a base to build "roaming" personal terminals onto. With diffuse 802.11 you could access your home system ANYWHERE. Bye Bye M$, it's been a hoot!
