I've been using the Smart Battery Case for a couple days now - bought it primarily for travel to help get through those longer/busier days when most of my time is spent on the iPhone rather than iPad or Mac.

Anyway, whenever waking the screen, I only see the iPhone's battery meter at the top (status bar) and showing 100% & charging (like expected). However, it seems tedious to have to pull down the today view and look at the battery widget to see the case's battery level. I thought maybe by default the lock screen would show both batteries, like this:

But that doesn't seem to be the case. I guess you only see this screen with both batteries when it's first plugged in to charge?

I feel like instead of showing the iPhone's battery level on the lock screen / status bar it would be more interesting to show the case's battery as you can safely assume that the phone will stay at or near 100% until the case is depleted.

Thoughts?
