iPad Apple Smart Cases are MIA

at least in my area. None at BB, target, Staples or Walmart. Every launch same pattern. I guess I'll order a cheapie from Amazon for now.

New cases and covers for a new form factor are usually only available at the Apple store at launch. Expect them to hit other retailers in the coming weeks.

I was looking to get a cover, not a case. Local BB (in NC) had plenty.

Same problem here in WV -- only Smart Covers in stock everywhere I've looked, no Smart Cases.

Blows my mind, maybe there's a supply constraint on the cases. I understand the limited third-party options, but Apple has known the final dimensions of the iPad Air for probably half a year.
