Apple software that bootcamp wants me to download same as whats on my disc?

Installing windows viabootcamp and it wants me to download the apple software to a disc or external. Is the software that came on my disc going to be just as effective if I stick that in after the install?

The Disc probably has an older version, which would be updated after you installed it properly. Creating a disc would provide the most updated software.
 
Alright, I just dont have a blank disc or properly formatted external. Ill use my disc and update it afterwards. Thanks : )
