I use spaces to move between different windows. When I use the Command and arrow keys to move between windows, the screen sometimes bounces back to the original space where I started from without my command.

For example, if I am in space 1 and I switch to space 2, it will stay in space 2 for a split second and then bounce back to space 1. I then have to move back to space 2 manually.

Any ideas on why this is happening?

Simple. Check your system preferences -> spaces/expose for configured applications that have been set to use a certain Space. I usually have safari set to 1, itunes to 2, aperture to 3, etc...

What method are you using to switch in the first instance?
