Apple Special Events on a PC but not on a Mac

Hi! Beeing rather new in the Mac-universe I have some problems with Quicktime: I can watch the Apple Special Events on my Windoze-PC but not on my iBook G4! Quicktime won't open the link, and I have tried changing the settings but it didn't help.
I've got an ADSL internet connection, so the speed should not be an issue, since it works on my PC using the same connection.
Any help would be really appreciated. If I missed any previous thread about this topic, I apologize.

2005 ones? I couldn't get them to work on either. I would guess that it is something to do with the versions i.e. your running an old version of quicktime on your PC and a new one on your Mac? From what I can see there's not a huge amount of compatibility. For example when i encode stuff using imovie 06 in quicktime it wouldn't work on a friends old version of quicktime.
